Tomorrow the Traffic on Trakia Motorway Will Be Opened to the Intersection “Petolachkata” in the Direction Sofia-Burgas
Tomorrow – 24th of August, 12:00 h the traffic of motor vehicles of “Trakia” Motorway will be opened to the intersection “Petolachkata”, in the direction Sofia-Burgas, from km 275 + 200 to km 290 + 510 (right carriageway), as well as the road junction of Trakia Motorway at km 290 + 510 from Lot 4 with road I-7.
The traffic for all vehicles is organized as follows:
- In the direction to Bourgas: road junction of Trakia Motorway with road I-7 at km 290 + 510 – road I-7-road junction “Petolachkata” - road I-6 – Karnobat- “Trakia Motorway” -Burgas;
- Direction to Sofia: Burgas - “Trakia Motorway” – Karnobat – road І-6 – road junction between road І-6 and road ІІ-53 (road junction Sliven) – road ІІ-53 – road junction on “Trakia Motorway” with road ІІ-53 – “Trakia Motorway” – Sofia.
On August 26, Sunday, the left carriageway of the same section of Trakia Motorway will be commissioned.
The movement for all vehicles is organized as follows:
- To Burgas: road junction on Trakia Motorway with Road І-7 at km 290+510 – Road І-7 –road junction “Petolachkata” – Road І-6 –Karnobat - Trakia Motorway–Burgas;
- To Sofia: Burgas–Trakia Motorway–Karnobat - Road І-6 – road junction „Petolachkata”- Road I-7 – road junction on Trakia Motorway with Road І-7 at km 290+510 – Trakia Motorway – Sofia.
Besides the newly constructed section, drivers can use also an alternative route. In the direction Sofia – Burgas they can drive along Trakia Motorway – the junction with road I-7 – and then along Road I-7 to Veselinovo – Kozarevo, road II-53 –Zornitsa – Sredets – along Road II-79 to Burgas. The same route can be used to drive from Burgas to Sofia.
